We have a frame relay point-to-point setup which was configed at the time not planning for internet access. We have a very basic router set up with the host end servers ip addresses 220.110.10.255 range & the branches using 10.0.0.0 ranges. We now have dsl & firewall capabilities on host which is working fine, However we now need internet access at a couple of the branch locations. What is the easiest best way to be able to access the host firewall? Do we need to change ip addresses to be on the same subnet (220.110.10.255)? the firewall gateway address is 220.110.10.7. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

You do not need to change any IP addresses. Simply provide a route from the branches to the gateway using static routes if no routing protocol is configured.

You can use the ip default-gateway command when ip routing is disabled on a Cisco router. Use the ip default-network and ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 commands to set the gateway of last resort on Cisco routers that have ip routing enabled.
