RPST on 3548's ?

Can I run RPST on my 3548's ?

(C3500XL-C3H2S-M), Version 12.0(5)WC11

Will a later version of code do it ?

Thanks

Re: RPST on 3548's ?

Hi,

None of the XL switches (2900/3500XL) switches support Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol. The lowest-end switch that does support RSTP is the 2950 platform with the Enhanced Image.

HTH,

Bobby

Re: RPST on 3548's ?

Thanks. I think it's time I took all these 3548's out of the network, they don't do ssh, they don't support some logging that I want, no rstp.

Have to take a look at what's the modern day Cisco equivalent.
