Re: SAA VPN support

As far as I know, some of the SAA features like, ICMP Echo, Path Echo, UDP Echo have been MPLS VPN aware since IOS 12.2(2)T and path jitter since 12.3(2)T.

I hope the following pages will help you;

Re: SAA VPN support

Hello Gabriel,

first of all thank you for your answer.I had already read the documents related but did not find the solution to my problem. Really SAA features you mentioned are vrf Aware (i've made some test with success).

The problem appears when you configure an operation like jitter which require enabling the responder on destination, and the destination is a PE router with several VPNs configured.

In this situation the destination receive the SAA control message from the source, in the VPN in which

the operation was configured, but doesn't respond to that message in the correct VPN. I understand that this is due to the Responder (rtr responder command) is not vrf aware.

What i would like to know is whether this limitation solved in any IOS release and if don't if Cisco have in mind to solve it
