Hi

I am seeking assistance with cat 4000 series switch

When I do a sh cdp neighbor details on cat 4000 I am seeing

the ip address 127.0.0.3 being displayed for both gigabit ports

I am not using ip address 127.x.x.x in the network. I am wondering

where this ip address came from and if possible how to remove it

Many thanks

There was couple of bugs filed for this issue

http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/bugtool/onebug.pl?bugid=CSCdt79926

The above bug was closed as unreproducible. There is also another open bug CSCdx14326 which is still being investigated. I suggest that you open a TAC case and provide more info so that the TAC Engineer can work with development for this issue
