Serial Interface Resets

We have a Cisco 3700 Model router with 3 wic rj48. the service line is 6mb FR and is distributed through a widebank 28/adc path panel to the wics. we have had several various routers, standalone dsu's and combinations. the serial interfaces seem to always reset when the output queue is full and sporatically at night when no traffic at all. we have tried to test for grnd problems, line problems, etc. we have an identical setup in another location and it seldom fails, the only difference is that it is 9mb service line FR. no external problems are found on the bad site. any ideas?

Hi!

The times i´ve seen the serials going to reset state, has been because of a bad framming issue conf. on the controllers ...are your controllers not showing you line code violations, path code violations or something??

As a workaround, give a no framing (CRC, NO CRC, ETC) and putting on it again...after thar shut/no shut the controller..it could helps you..

I hope this helps U

Have a nice day
