Serial Links Bundeling

Hi,

I need to have 10 Mbps WAN link between two locations. As of now my service procider can give only 2 Mbps links only. So I want to get 5 links and bundle all these 5 links to get 10 Mbps Bandwidth.

Is this (bundeling 5 links) is possible on cisco router. If yes, how to do it?

Otherwise how can I proceed to have 10 Mbps link!!!!!

Regards

Babu

Re: Serial Links Bundeling

A link providing 10Mb is possible. Typically you use ATM for this. Appearently you need to find a different provider.

Bundling of serial lines is possible. Check for the configuration of a multilink interface. This is a logical interface that you could use to create the bundle.

However I would not advise it as it is quite CPU-intensive. A single ATM link is the better solution.
