I'm trying to configure an A4/S in a 3640 running IOS 11.2. I can't seem to get it to work. It keeps showing Line Up/Protocol Down. I have tried 3 supposed "known working" modules from our supplier with the same results. I can configure a WIC1T in a 1E2W in the same router, same slot with no problem. I have even tried the A4/S in a 3660 w/IOS 12.1 with no luck. This leads me to believe that I'm missing something in the config of the module. All we need is an IP address and encapsulation. Is there something else needed on the config of this module?
