Set up trunking on the 3550 and two subinterfaces on each router:
3550---TRUNK---R1 fa0/1
|
|
|
----TRUNK---R2 fa0/1
Then on R1:
fa0/1.2
encap isl 2
ip add 192.168.1.1
fa0/1.3
encap isl 3
ip add 192.168.2.1
and on R2:
fa0/1.2
encap isl 2
ip add 192.168.1.254
fa0/1.3
encap isl 3
ip add 192.168.2.254
You should be able to get from R1 fa0/1.1 and fa0/1.2 to R2 fa0/1.1 and R2 fa0/1.2

int f0/30
switchport truck allow ?

Let me explain it in more detail.
I have 2 Router which are going to same location via two different Telco, they are running VRRP. They both have one ethernet interface connecting to different vlans(2&3). Each router also has a sub interface which has ip from the other networks. These switches will not doing IP Routing!
vlan 2 = > 192.168.1.1
vlan 3 = > 192.168.2.1
R1 e0/1 => 192.168.1.254
R1 e0/1.1 => 192.168.2.253
R2 e0/1 = > 192.168.2.254
R2 e0/1.1 => 192.168.1.253
I am plugging these int to ports on vlan 2 and vlan 3. How can i be able to ping all the interfaces(1.254,1.253,2.254,2.253).
thanks
Hope this helps
