Greetings.
I have two networks (2*2 6509 running ios) each connected to the same ISP, but on two different locations. eg.
L1=Location1
L2=Location2
+---------- ISP ---------+
L1-------------------------L2
6509------- FIBER --------6509
Net1----------------------Net2
I want to do a multihome thing so that if L1 falls out, L2 takes over. I have this FIBER connecting the two of the 6509 through a METRO1500.
Is it possible to do some BGP failover/redundancy, multihome thing. Examples ??

Static routes with different metrics.
Assume L1 is the primary then IP route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 xx.xx.xx.xx 25
for l2 same thing except instead of 25 use 50.
route 1 will handle everything until it goes away.
the route 2 takes over.

you might want to Trunk between the 2 cats and or setup HSRP
