SGBP/multichassis

Hi.

I've 2 Cisco 3640 with one E1 PRI in each one, these routers are running HSRP and tracking E1 PRI , behind these routers there is a firewall that sends packets to ip active, if one E1 fails then HSRP selects the other router as active router .

Actually I have 29 remote users but shortly they will be 40 users and then PRI will be full .

When the PRI is full , new calls to this full PRI are redirected to the second PRI but my firewall will be sending packets to the HSRP group active (router with PRI full) and the new calls will fail.

How can I solve this problem? Is multichassis multilink /SGBP a solution for it?

Is there any other technology for this situation?

Thanks for your help

Re: SGBP/multichassis

You can work around this as follows:

Install a routing protocol on the 3640's; lets say EIGRP.

Under the router eigrp configuration enter the following:

redistribute connected

In this way connections on one router will be redirected to the other one as needed. This solution works in combination with HSRP.
