Shouldn't I modify the "multilink max-fragments" when configuring multilink

Hello everybody,

I need some help.

I would like to configure multilink PPP on 8B-channels :

By default the maximum number of fragments is 16.

So isn't it interesting to configure this parameter to 8 ?

Kind regards,

Bernard

Re: Shouldn't I modify the "multilink max-fragments" when config

By default the number of MPPP fragments depends on the BW for each link, whether or not the fragment-delay or interleaving is enabled, the number of links in the bundle. We will never create more fragments than there are links for any given packet, so you should not have to worry about the max-frag command.
