Show ip accounting output entrie not identified

Hello All,

We have activated ip accounting on fast ethernet interface of 7206 router running

IOS version 12.1(10).

When looking at the show ip accounting output, there is a couple of ip addresses that we can not identified :

lpar561#sh ip accounting

Source Destination Packets Bytes

...

0.0.0.0 192.168.0.0 3352 4657488

...

Accounting data age is 3

Could someone explain ?

Hello,

Those are the Source and Destination IP addresses of the packets that passed through that particular interface. But I am wondering how did the 0.0.0.0 source IP address get there. Can anyone throw some more light on this?
