shutting down a atm interface configured in a pvc range

I need to temporarily disable a atm interface configured in a pvc range. The need for this is to suspend a customer for non pay without going out to the remote cabnet and pulling wires. The problem I am having is you can't get into the interface if it is configured in a range. If you have any other suggestions I could try that would be great. They are on a DHCP range and we are not using PPPOE, so denying IP's or user names wont work.

Thanks for the help,

JT

Check this links which talks about configuring and deactivating an individual pvc within a range, hope that helps.
