Simultaneous WAN routing to Internet and to head office network

Hi all

I want to be able to offer a WAN solution based on 1700 series, so that the branch office can connect to the Intenet thru a local ADSL link and also to connect to their head office private network for a database application over ISDN.

Has anybody got a sample config to ensure that packets for Internet are routed over the ADSL interface and database packets over ISDN?

The end-point at the corporate network could be another Cisco router, but to complicate matters more it could also be direct into a RAS server (NT domain)

I am unsure whether I should run DHCP locally or use a fixed IP scheme and also how users get authenticated onto their head office NT network.

Any ideas and or configs would be a help.

Many thanks

If your users are hitting a Proxy server to hit the internet or some other kind of gateway then just put in a static route to that address.

Ip route 10.0.0.x (address of proxy) serial0 (or whatever interface connects to the internet).

Depending on how the rest of your network is set up, this should work out alright.
