Single router mode and NTP

When SRM enabled on 6500, is NTP supposed to synch the clock on active and standby MSFC both or just the active one. In my case NTP status is synchronized only on active MSFC.

Please advice.

I think it all depends on the ios version used.Some ios versions are not supporting NTP synchronization between active and standby MSFC.Anyway, can you let me know the ios version of the switch in which you encountered this problem?.This will help me to ensure and confirm my doubt.
