Hi, 

Do you habe any recommendation which Sowftare I should use for Smart-Install with "C6880-X-LE-SUP".

I've problem with my Smart install setup.

If you have a recommendation please tell me.

I'm struggling with 3850 as well. I've tried: connectivity, no answer, mac, no answer product-id -> no answer...

I don't hope that I've to move to a never image.

Hi Rene,

Which image on client (sh ver) and what is the version of director you have (sh mod)?

For 3850 product, check is there built-in group available to verify that director has support for 3850 as client.

Hi all,

I've an update.

The latest status is: The Switch loads the config file in nvram:

but then it stops and I've to boot the Switch manually.

Then he comes up and is running.

Should the switch boot automatically after getting the config and image ?

Thank you for the detail logs as requested.

You are trying to upgrade to the same image say X->X, you are trying Zero Touch upgrade and ZT Image upgrade wont support upgrade from same image to same image!!

If you are doing On demand upgrade then you can use override option to load the same image.

For Zero touch upgrade could you please try with different versions of the images on IBC.

Looks like you have 15.0(2)SE image better try to load different image version or if you dont have that option to load other image, do On-Demand upgrade with override option.

like below:

vst download-image tar bootflashh:/path/<tarimage> <cleint ip> override reload

Hi Santosh,

no it's not on demand update. This customer want it if a Switch fails. He has some spare and want to replace real quick the Switch. BUT the installed Switches and the Spare switches will have the same Software.

So I think override reload will not be an option.

Hi Rene,

Yeah, from same image to same image its not possible to do with ZT image upgrade but you can do ZT config upgrade, if you are not interested with image upgrade.

ZT upgrades(image and config) will be used for upgrading the factory default switches, you can try using ZT with config only upgrade or On-Demand image/config upgrade if switch is already UP and working.
