snmp linkup trap on E1 interface..

Hi,

I am using 5300 access router. I configured following globle commands for snmp:

snmp-server community <removed> RO

snmp-server community <removed> view v1default RO

snmp-server community <removed> RO

snmp-server trap-source FastEthernet0

snmp-server enable traps snmp linkdown linkup

snmp-server enable traps rtr

snmp-server host 192.168.180.69 <removed> snmp

After these commands I get linkdown traps but i didn't get linkup traps. I need a linkup traps for E1 interfaces.

Please help me..

Check the Trap PDU field to see if it increments if you do a no shut on the intf. Also you many want to search the CCO Bug Toolkit to see if there's any known issues related to this for your IOS.
