SNMP Trap Auth Failure

Hi,

I am seeing some Authentication Failure traps coming from our 10720 routers. The source for these auth failures are 0.0.0.0. Where do these come from?

Re: SNMP Trap Auth Failure

Hi,

0.0.0.0 is not a valid IP address. Look at http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/tech/tk648/tk362/technologies_tech_note09186a00800a9405.shtml.

Hope this help.

Andrea.

Re: SNMP Trap Auth Failure

yes, in CW2000. I only get the auth failure for a few routers.
