Hello,
in addition to Edwin's post: which platform do you have, and have you recently changed anything, or did this just happen on an operational device ? As described in the links, this is either corrupted software, in which case you could try and load a new IOS, are a problem with the flash memory (you could try to open the box, and reseat the memory, or replace it)...

the ram was doubled recently as well as the ios, which required the ram upgrade. There was also a faulty network module inside the box.
I reseated all sticks, but I cant clear all the dumb files. I load into rommon and the commands available there allow for erase but not for squeeze. So I believe that now I cant boot the image because it no longer has the available memory because of the dump files... thoughts?
