Software upgrade

We have a 7513 that has

IOS (tm) RSP Software (RSP-JSV-M), Version 12.2(19), RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc3)

ROM: System Bootstrap, Version 11.1(2) [nitin 2], RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)

BOOTLDR: RSP Software (RSP-BOOT-M), Version 12.1(5)T7, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)

and we would like to go to IOS 12.3.3a,

The release notes does not tell us that we need to upgrade the ROM and we are worried that the ROM does not support the new IOS version.

You don't have to worrie about the ROM version. Just upgrade to the new IOS version taking into consideration the RAM/flash requirements for the new IOS.

The ROM is upgraded by replacing the ROM chips on the RSP.
