Solaris Multipath and Cisco

Hi.

I´m trying to deploy the solaris multipath feature. Well, to make a long story short, solaris, in order to discover its neighbors at the same IP subnet, sends a ICMP echo-request to the 224.0.0.1 multicast address; it´s extremely desirable that my gateway (a 6509; its sh ver output is below) answers, but

currently, it does not. Is there a safe and simple way to make this

switch router answer these requests?

Thanks.

Re: Solaris Multipath and Cisco

Are you talking about the IPMP feature on Sun?

Yes, I am.

Re: Solaris Multipath and Cisco

I think you need to enable IRDP on the router (l3 switch). Check this link out.
