some ports on 3548 move back to default vlan 1

I had several ports on three different 3548s in the same IDF set back to the default VLAN. I did not see any errors at the 6509 or the 3548s. Not all ports on the switches changed but all that did were linked to HP Jet Direct print servers. I recall seeing discussions on this but have not come across potential reasons for this occurrence.

TIA

David

Are you saying the config is lost ? f

or example for setting a port to different vlan (say 20) than default you have to configure

switchport access vlan 20

can you explain little more

The switch had been power cycled by some phone guys by mistake. The changes made had not been saved. Initially, it looked like an issue with the HP JetDirect but this was only because some printers happened to be moved during this time.

Thanks for the reply.

;) that would explain it ... anyway for the record, there is no such bugs i am aware of in that platform.
