Sonic Wall Firewall & 3550 with VLANS

Hi, I have a Sonic Wall Firewall connected by a LAN connection to a 3550 with VLANs. Currently the only way I can get out to the Internet through the Firewall is if it is on the same VLAN as the WS. If I move it to a separate VLAN I can not get out but can still ping the Firewall interface from any VLANs. Firewall is doing NAT on two different networks (moving to privates). I have also connected the firewall via a router port (no switchport), can ping but no internet access. Is it a NAT problem in the firewall?

Thanks

Re: Sonic Wall Firewall & 3550 with VLANS

This may not directly answer your questions but might help you : The SonicWall firewall does not 'care' if it is handling public or private IP addresses when it is not doing NAT (i.e., when it is in standard mode.) So currently it will pass any private IP addresses it receives on the LAN port to the WAN port, that is, the internet router. You may point the route to the sonic wall, default route should point to the internet router.
