Source routing

Hi!

I would like to know if there is anyway a Cisco router can do some source routing.

I've got several ATM links and I would like split their load acording to the source address. Is this possible? If it isn't, any suggestions?

Thank's a lot!

Re: Source routing

What you want can be achieved by a feature called policy routing.

You should define a route map and a set of access-lists for your hosts.

Based on a standard access-list you can select source adresses and send the packets to a specific interface.

This feature was implemented from 12.0 onwards in case you want to check the command references. Let me know if you have any problems.

Goodluck,
