SPAN and xmit-err

Hi,

I have a C2948G switch and I have enabled SPAN feature to copy the traffic from port 35 to port 36. However when I type show port. I see there has a lot of xmit-err on port 36. The utilization for port 36 is not high and the port is running 100M full duplex. Will it be SPAN problem?

To get some idea about the problem, you can disable SPAN and check if the errors stop. If possible, SPAN it to a different port to isolate any port related problems.
