SPAN More Than 1 Vlan for Received/Sent Traffic

Is it possible to have mirror traffic that has been received/sent for more than one VLAN on more than one source port and/or destination port on the same switch for 5500 v5.5.5 and on 6509 Native IOS?

Also, I believe you can SPAN a trunk, but can you SPAN a ISL trunk, but somehow limit those VLANS within the Trunk for port monitoring purposes?I

If you know any information, that would be great.

You cannot have multiple destination ports for the same source port/VLAN.

Regarding your second question, you can use the filter option to limit VLANs(not available in CAT5k though)

Re: SPAN More Than 1 Vlan for Received/Sent Traffic

Thanks for responding! What I meant to ask was: Can you have one source and one destination for one vlan and another source/destination for a different VLAN on the same switch? I need to monitor more than one VLAN, but currently we have only one switch for a 5500 and 6509 at two separate sites.

As a sidenote, we are not utlizing trunk ports at the time being since we have ony one switch.

Thanks in advance!

Yes you can span multiple ports...

Use the span 1 2/4 create (the create allows it to add another span session)...
