I have been using a 2950XL w/ 2 VLANS for some time on our DMZ (one VLAN for outside and one for the DMZ)and just purchased a new 2950 because a couple of the ports on the 2900XL died... I had it set up before for port fa0/1 to be the span port for ports fa0/2-12 (VLAN 100) and fa0/13 to be the span port for ports fa0/14-24. Each of the span ports were connected to different interfaces on our IDS box. Now with the 2950 i see there is a limitation of only 1 span session!!!??? First why the change? Second does anyone know a way around this?
