SPAN on 4006 (Sup III)

I want to span 4 VLANs on a 4006 Caltalyst Switch.According to documentation on CCO 4006 with SupIII can have 6 different sessions.It sounds quite nice and dandy,is 4006 backplane actually capable of supporting multiple SPAN sessions without impacting the performance?

In Sup3, SPAN is done in hardware and should not impact performace.
