SPAN on C2950 w/ Trunk portchannel

I want to monitor a Portchannel (2 fastheth) in Trunk with a probe system.

On 2950 the command in glob conf mode is "monitor session" etc.

Unfortunately the system respond with a message like this: UNSUITABLE will not join any port-channel

and the portchannel was down...

There is anyway to monitor flow on a portchannel?

Alternative?

Thanks

marco

Yes, you can. But, instead of specifying the port range, use the port channel interface instead.

A port channel cannot be the SPAN destination port. It can only be a source of the SPAN.

Re: SPAN on C2950 w/ Trunk portchannel

YES I know.

I wont to monitor a PortChannel in another interface.

As is:

PortChannel with fasteth 0/47 & 0/48

monitor session 1 source interf fast 0/47 - 48

monitor session 1 dest int fast 0/1

Do this issue is not possible? When i try it the portchannel was down.
