Speed on switch port

I'm interesting in such qestion. Can I configer the speed which is different from supporting one in cisco switch. I mean that I can configure 10 mb speed in port, but can I configure 64 kb speed in Catalyst port using only catalyst commands, without using router with CAR or traffic shaping?

No you cannot configure the fastethernet ports for any speed other than 10Mbps and 100Mbps. However you can police the speed using QoS(platform dependent)
