Splitting the 56K modems between Controllers on AS5200

I need to split my 24 56K modems (2x12) between to T-1 services. The controller T1 0 is using all 24 now and I need to split and have the 12-24 modems be used by a new T1 connected to controller T1 1

You might want to use SGBP - stack group bidding protocol. But i am not sure whether this will work for sharing analog calls from 56k modems. This definitely works for sharing isdn calls between 2 as 5300s.

Hi,

This can be done by the feauture of " resource-pool " . Using this on the AS53XX chassis modems can be shared according to many criterias : DNIS , voice call , digital call , V110 call .......

If you search it on Cisco Site , you can find very helpfull documents.

Regards
