SSL VPN on 6509 Sup1a

Is there any way, on a 6509 with a SUP1A PFC/MSFC to terminate SSL VPN clients either with the sup engine or with an add on module?

To accomplish this fucntionality on the switch, you need to add a services module - SSL module for Catalyst 6500, part number WS-SVC-SSL-1-K9. It can be done offboard on a Cisco VPN concentrator or PIX (or other sort of offboard firewall) as well. The SSL module is very powerful and you pay for that power - US$29,995 list price. The entry level VPN 3005 can be had for 1/10 the cost of the 6509 services module.

Hope this helps, please rate helpful posts.
