Stacking 2950G-48

Hi,

I run a large Campus environment and would like to know if there is any problems if you start stacking 2950G-48 switches by using the 1st 10/100 port en each switch with a cross-over cable instead of the Gigastack module?

Regards

Dean

The only difference is the bw of the link. Traffic patterns in your environment will dictate what issues you may have (eg, aggregation of many 10/100 to 100M vs 1G path). You could try multiple 10/100 (FastEtherChannel) if more bw is needed.
