stackwise and unique IP for each switch

Hey All,

We are stacking 2 3750G's together, is there a way to give each 3750 an IP address?

We want to do basic ping testing for monitoring and we can't tell if one of the switches dies because the IP address moves to the master switch.

Unfortunately no - if you want seperate IPs you would need to have the switches seperate (i.e. unstacked).

You can monitor availability through SNMP (although this is inherently a little more complex than just pinging).
