static nat with route maps

I am trying to create a static nat for a single inside resource to two different outside addresses using route maps. The route map tests if the interface is up so that the resource gets natted to the proper outside address. The problem is that Cisco enters the commands in alphanumeric order so there is no way to have one inteface have preference over another. I've tried mapping ids but that did nothing.

Re: static nat with route maps

can you try this ?

ip nat inside source static route-map isp1

ip nat inside source static route-map isp2

route-map isp1 permit 10

match ip next-hops 101

route-map isp2 permit 10

match ip next-hop 102

access-list 101 permit ip

access-list 102 permit ip is isp1 ip address (let's say from serial0) is isp2 ip address (let's say from serial1)

if traffic from to (this will be decided by routing you configured) the nat to

this will be true as far as your prilary path is up (serial0)

Now if primary path is down. next hop will be so match route-map isp2 the you ip address is natted to

Please try it and let me know
