Statics over ISDN

I'm using a floating static-route over legacy BRI as a backup to reach a remote subnet.

What are the advantages/differences when pointing the static route to the next hop address over BRI, as compared to pointing the static route directly to the BRI interface?

Re: Statics over ISDN

If you point to the BRI directly, you

will need a dialer map for EVERY potential

destination address. If, on the other hand,

your static route points to the next

hop address, you only need a dialer

map for that address.
