Stop DFM from calling ISDN routers

Dear all,

how can I stop DFM from calling my ISDN routers every few minutes ? Since the installation of DFM our communication costs have exploded. Currently I'm configuring the dialer lists on our ISDN routers, but how can I adjust that within DFM ?

Any help is welcome.

Thank you very much,

Bernd

Re: Stop DFM from calling ISDN routers

This is possible. You can set up a special polling group. This group should do reduced polling or no polling at all, just as you wish it. You can set up polling groups and their properties with the admin-console.

To put the devices in this group you can specify criteria like device type, name and others. I use snmp location for this. When it starts with something like loc nr xx the device belongs to the special-polling group.

Even with this group set to no polling, the device discovery and user discovery will activate the line every few hours.

Regards,

Leo
