I AM facing a memory Leak problem , I have identified the process that is holding the memory and is not freeding it ; i am not able to do an upgrade due to real time traffic and slow connection , so i am asking if is it possible to stop or kill this process on my device using Cisco CLI(Command Line Interface)?

the designated process is : CCSIP_SPI_CONTRO.

could anyone help?

Re: stopping a process on AS5300

no..there is no way to clear the memory occupied by a process using a command. If router is facing a memory leak, it needs to be reloaded or needs to be loaded with the ios image which has a fix for that.
