Hello,
I read the following on a documentation and on a Cisco Press's book:
If you configure a switch to Cut-Through, then the switch will read the destination MAC address and will forward this frame... (so this method do not verify if a frame is a RUNT, GIANT or if has a bad CRC), but exist an option where the switch can change to Store-and-Forward based on a error-threshold...
so I think, if the switch in cut-through method do not verify for errors, how it can change to Store-and-Forward based on errors percentage? How it can account errors'?
Thanks...

What switches do you have? Most of our switches are store-and-foward based and it is NOT a configurable option. The exception to this is the CAT1900 which has a choice of cut-through or store-and-forward switching

On the CAT1900, if I configure him to operate in fragment-free method (this model do not support cut-through), how errors can be accounted?
On the CAT5000 that uses store-and-forward... how it can account errors?
Thanks....
