I have a network consisting of a 3620 router and multiple 2924 switches connected via 100mb fiber and copper. All end node ports are configured for 'portfast'. My question is what type of BPDU traffic should we be seeing on the ports where computers are connected and forwarding.
Do you know what would be the normal interval between advertisements. Currently we seem to be seeing quite a few BPDU's, so I am trying to gauge if the amount we are monitoring are just normal traffic.
