Hi,

what would a switch that DOES NOT have STP active, do if it learns the same MAc Address from 2 different ports ?

Hi,

the latest frame will trigger an entry in the CAM table. Assuming you have two hosts with the same MAC (which should not be in the first place) each frame received rewrites the CAM table. The underlying assumption is, that there is only one host with this MAC and the host has moved to another port (or switch).
