strange 7500 cef problem

when I "show log",there are many infomation

"Apr 17 03:58:42: %FIB-4-RPPREFIXINCONST2: RP missing prefix for 10.10.254.148/32

in FIB table Default-table (present in routing table) ".

I search it in tac's cef, cisco said it is because The tables between the RP and the line cards must remain synchronized.

But I issue :

rt7500> sh cef linecard

%CEF linecard not initialized. Start distributed CEF

So my router don't need synchronized between RP and the line cards, what's wrong with this?

thanks! any comment is appreciated!

Re: strange 7500 cef problem

Cisco Error Decoder:

Recommended Action: The system has corrected the inconsistency. No action is required. If the same prefix gives repeated errors, check the CEF prefix on the RP and line card, and, if required, use the clear cef linecard EXEC command to download a ne w CEF table on the card. If the system is generating a large number of these messages, this message may indicate a software failure in the CEF code. If a software failure in the CEF code has occurred, consider upgrading your system to the latest Cisco IOS software release in your release train to take advantage of recent fixes. If the problem still occurs after the upgrade, copy the error message text exactly as it appears on the console or in the system log, enter the show tech-support, show ip cef, and show log commands, contact your Cisco technical support representative, and provide the representative with the gathered information.

Hope this helps!
