Strange Error message~

all the ports of Cisco Catalyst 2950C-24 switch stop forwardig and have error message "SCHAN ERROR INTR: unit=1 SRC=6 DST=5

OPCODE=20 ERRCODE=4"

I can't find any bug or field notice about this~

does anyone meet the same question before?~

I would open a TAC Case, but it looks like a Hardware or ASIC Issue. Either Memory or a FPGA problem. Good Luck.

I have already seen exaclty this message twice times at the same customer.

SCHAN ERROR INTR: unit=0 SRC=6 DST=5

OPCODE=20 ERRCODE=5

Exactly on cisco WS-C2950-24.

Stop forwarding, stop working, exploitation down.

We have change hardware switch once time by new one.

The probleme was repeated 10 minutes after.

Boot and reboot don't resolve the issue.

Upgrade and downgrade Ios too.

I have changed again with a new hardware too and now it's work very good.

I sounds like a bad serie on this ...
