subnetting routes

Hi all, Can someone tell me if I wanted to route say the first 32 machines in the 10.1.2.0 subnet to say 192.228.1.1 what route would I need to put in, would it be 10.1.2.0/27 ?

Hi, would this not be routing the machines from range .33 to .62 though, or would it route from ip 1 to 30 ? cause I thought this would be ip subnet 0 ?

10.1.2.0/27 would indeed refer to the first 32 addresses. This is what we refer to as subnet zero but there is nothing wrong with using it anymore.

how would I route the next 32 addresses in this subnet, would I put a route 10.1.2.32/27 qand this would route the rest ?

This subnet mask looks like it will be letting 64 addresses though not 32, I though 10.1.2.32/26 would be letting through ip's 33 to 94 ? am I correct !!
