Hi there,
What's the best way to connect 2 wiring closets to Sup3 on 4006? Each closet houses 2 2950T-24.
Would the following configuration work?
Install 1000BaseT GBICs (WS-5483) into the Sup3. Connect Sup3 port to the first GigE port on SwitchA. Connect the second GigE port on SwitchA to a GigE port on SwitchB.
Do I need to use 1000BaseT crossover cables between the switches?
Is 1000BaseT GBIC supported in Sup3?
TIA

Sup3 does not support Copper GBICs yet. It'll support them in the future software releases. But we do have 1000baseT line cards such as WS-X4412-2GB-T, WS-X4424-GB-RJ45 and WS-X4448-GB-RJ45
