I am unable to get a 1000-TX connection between one of the 10/100/1000-TX ports on the Supervisor Engine II PLus TS X4013+TS and a C3750G-24T-S. Both ports show 'status: notconnect'.
Likewise I can't connect two SupII+TS with their 10/100/1000-TX ports.
Connecting from a SupII+TS 10/100/1000-TX port to a 10/100/1000-TX port on a X4424-GB-RJ45 module is fine.
Has this something to do with the PoE features of the SupII+TS ports? I allready tried "power inline never" without success.

Is there a fiber port right next to the copper port on this supervisor? If so in the config you need to specify which media you want to use .

The Sup2+TS has 12 10/100/1000-TX ports and 8 SFP ports. They are independent, named Gigabit 1/1-12 and 1/13-20.
So no media to choose.

OK, I just tried connecting the two SupII+TS's with a crossover cable and got a 1000TX connection!?
Should'nt 1000TX work without a crossover cable? It does work without from a SupII+TS to a X4424-GB-RJ45!

1000Base-T NICs may implement a selectable internal crossover option that can be negotiated and enabled during autonegotiation. When the selectable crossover option is not implemented, 10Base-T rules and recommendations apply.
*may implement*
So it seems like it's just not implemented in the ports of the SupII+TS.
