Hi,
I have 2 Switches 2924XL connected with 2 Fiber Link on ports 23 and 24, the port 24 led is Ambar, but I can not find anything wrong, the show command is :

If you connect 2 switches via 2 connections with the same VLAN configuration, one port will go into the STP blocking state and go appear on the front panel LED. This is correct behavior.

Thanks for your reply, but what means STP blocking ? The 2 connections is load balanced ? If no, how can I do it ?
Thanks,
Alex

If you have CatOS (5500, 6500, 2900G switches)
http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/473/68.html
If you have switches with Native IOS2900XL, 3500XL
http://www.cisco.com/warp/customer/473/131.html
If you are trying to configure ether channel between CatOS and 2900XL/3500XL

Does th light stay amber all the time, or only for a few minutes when the switch first boots up?

Sorry I forgot to add, if the light stays amber all the time then you have a configuration conflict between the f0/24 interface and the device at the other end of the link. STP only turns the light amber whilst it recomputes the listening and learning states (about 30 secs). Amber means the link has come up but is not functioning
