I am looking at replacing our 10 Base T network with a 100MB switch solution.
Can anyone recommend a reliable switch. At the moment I am just looking for a 24 port 10/ 100 MB switch - nothing too fancy
My main concerns would be ease of installation, general maintenance and if possible network utilization.
Thanks in advance for your help

You should consider buying C2950 if you only need Layer2 functionality. If you think you will need routing functionality then perhaps C3550 is a resonable choice.

I recommend you Cisco Catalyst 2950-24. Easy to install & configure.
Just check following links:

Thanks for the quick replies and links
There are a few models in the 2950 series which I have narrowed down to :-
CISNA024TN (WS-C2950T-24)
CISNA024TM (WS-C2950-24 )
Or Should I be looking at the 2950G range?

Well, according to your first post, I'll choose WS-C2950-24. Switches 2950-T and 2950G have Gigabit uplink ports and Enhanced Image software. So, unless you are planning to place a Gigabit Eth backbone in the future or require special features such advanced QoS, high avalaibility, etc. you shouldn't choose others.
I think you also should ask for prices.

Bit of a jump in price on the 2950G range!!
Would the extra features of the 2950-T give us a little more "future proofing" or will it only cause more problems on setup?
