Switch to Switch connection

Trying to connect a 10/100 port on a C2924M-XL-EN to a 10/100 port on a C2950C. Am using a cross-over cable between RJ-45 ports with matching speeds (100) and duplex (full ) on both Switches. I removed Spanning-tree portfast on both ports.

I can not connect. Thanks for any help.

can you post the configurations of both switches ? How is your VTP configured ?

I am assuming, by "I can not connect" you mean there is no communication b/w 2 devices..one on each switch. I am going make a simple suggestion first: check the link light. Second see if trunking/native vlan configuration is done correctly.
