Switches with CAR feature.

I'm looking for a small/medium catalyst with CAR(Commited Access Rate) feature for customers' access control purposes.

Could you suggest me one?

I read about 2600 router with NM-ESW-161 that could solve my problem. But, I have no information about the provisioning way to enable VLAN, 802.1Q trunk and CAR features on ports.

Can this router with this module perform theses features ?

NM-ESW16 does not support CAR on each port . It might support VLAN based rate-limiting(I have not tested it). The following document should help you with other configuration(vlan/trunk)

3550 does not do vlan based policing currently. It is planned for a future release. currently per-port policing (ingress/egress) is only supported.
